Additionally, specify whether your site is prone to flooding. These inputs help the STIR identify potential natural hazards based on your site’s location.

Select “Yes” if the area near the site has flooded in the past, if the site is in a flood zone, or if the site’s topography provides the potential for riverine or coastal flooding or flooding from extreme rainfall events. This indicator will prompt the STIR to suggest potential flooding hazards in the Disruptions section if the site is also in a county with a substantial historical frequency of flooding.
